Soerkl

The archetype of a sink with its rigid water-tap is a relict of our precursor. Nowadays it’s used everywhere, without asking for it’s benefits. Originally the water-tap owas developed as a water tank. But these days this real function is used in rare cases. Intead of that a small space between wash basin and fitting is used. With our concept „Soerkl“ we are asking a fundamental question and taking a new direction. Soerkl is breaking free from the archetype and calls the water tank function into question. The use variations of a original water-tap are extended by a flexible water source. Furthermore because of different heights and a barrier-free inner area even little kids and physical limited persons are able to take a seat. design by: Stefan Otzelberger and René Alt FH-Coburg 7.
